About the Location
Firestone Business Park was originally the home of the Firestone Tire and Rubber Factory and was converted to a multi-tenant warehousing, distribution and light industrial users center beginning in 1986. Initial construction was completed in 1961 with the final expansion completed in 1974 and the conversion to a multi-tenanted leased property in 1986. The center is located approximately one mile South of the Salinas city limits and 50 miles from San Jose. It's located directly on highway 101 which is a major north-south artery serving all markets along the western seaboard.
About the Property
Firestone Business Park consist of approximately 1.8 million square feet of manufacturing, warehouse, distributing and office space. Approximately 1,445,000 square feet is constructed of steel frame, metal clad and metal roof. The remaining warehouse space is concrete tilt-up with 24 feet clear height with rail track inside building. The spaces consist of mixed fluorescent and high bay lighting and has a 60,000 volt power supply. The roof contains internal and external drains, there are on site wells and spaces are fully equipped with fire sprinklers.
